Cian O'Connor and Kate Club Lady

This is quite a nice video of Cian O'Connor at Karlswood Stables. It shows him riding the eleven year old mare Kate Club Lady. In the video he tells how important it is to do transitions and says:

"The horse should be able to go further and back easily without resistance. I think so many horses have no problem going forward but quite a few have an argument when you ask them to come back." 

O'Connor also shows how when he wants to collect he tries to bend her around his inside leg and collects her with his outside rein.
